A very surprising release, happening out of the blue, we are disgraced by the unearthing of this absolute gem of the Brazilian scene, most specifially its most obscure cauldron of unbriddled malignancy, Barbacena. The True Behemoth's last recording, this demo was shelved when the band changed its name to Archangellus, although its material was re-recorded for Archangellus' one and only album, "Magnus Ominis Umbra". A band featuring members of other unskipable acts of that scene, such as Invoker, Asaradel or Offertory, this album carries on a similar sound as their legendary "Malignant Ascencion of Sathanas" demo, however with longer and more daring song structures, as well as a more Doom-y sound, definite closer to Asaradel or acts like Mortuary Drape, Xantotol or the brazilian Black Funeral. An absolute must listen for any adepts of the Brazilian scene, serpentine, satanist necromancy.
