MonumentuM - in absentia christi LP

Part of the legendary 90s Misanthropy Records roster (home to Burzum, Ved Buens Ende, In The Woods... and more), MonumentuM started out playing extreme gothic doom metal (as seen on the 1991 split with Rotting Christ). However, by their 1995 debut album MonumentuM had evolved into a kind of ethereal darkwave meets doom metal that remains unique today. Imagine a Godflesh album on Projekt records.... or something.
